So, on YOUR wedding day, do you want Standard or Sensational?

However, please understand that Sensational costs more than Standard due to the vast difference in the amount of time required to personalize the important details of your reception.

Pricing is driven by many factors.

It's so much more than simply the equipment used; it's the services you are needing to make your
event perfect and just as you want it to be.



In your pursuit of the RIGHT Entertainment for your reception, we encourage you to keep the following key points in mind when comparing services and vendors, and to make sure you have answers to at least these questions before making a decision: 


1. How much experience as Wedding DJs do they have?

2. Do they work as a "solo" act or as a team for your event?

3. How often do they update/upgrade their equipment and when was the last time they did?

4. When they say "backup equipment" exactly what does that mean and what’s included?

5. Do they carry liability insurance, and if so how much?

6. How is their work area set up?

7. How influential with your music (genres, artists and specific songs) can you be?

8. Do they offer options, enhancements and upgrades to customize your event?

9. Are they LP, CD, or "Digital DJs", and how much of their music library will they bring with them to your event and are they "family friendly"?

10. Bands & DJs - Do they take breaks and, if so, how are they handled, and will they be your Master of Ceremonies?

Do I REALLY Need a DJ?

Each event and every couple are unique, and since you are visiting our web page, you are at least considering adding a DJ to the mix.   We believe, and clients agree, that a DJ is a fabulous option with a big BANG for Your Buck.  DJs also offer fewer drawbacks than others options might. 

(Did you know the average cost per guest for a professional DJ is LESS
than a ticket to a matinée movie?

Are you also considering an iPod or a Band? Unfortunately, each has drawbacks that you might not be aware of -
Let's look at iPods -
  1. Is there anyone at your event that experienced enough to “drive” the party to a fabulous finish?
  2. If that person is important enough to be there as your guest, shouldn't they really get to be a guest and enjoy the party?
  3. What is the cost of rental equipment (mixer, amplifiers, speakers, stands, wireless microphone, wires, cables, etc...) that you would need to go along with the iPod?
  4. What about the music? How large is your music library and how will you handle requests?
  5. Who is will be your Master of Ceremonies, taking care of ALL the announcements?
  6. Who will be your Event Director, coordinating all the details and vendors so YOU don't have too?

Now, let's look at a Band-
Bands are great options since you can enjoy the live music and interaction, however...
  1. What is their field of expertise - weddings, bar gigs, etc?
  2. How large and varied is their playlist?
  3. Will they add your SPECIAL song - the one you want to dance your First Dance to?
  4. Do they play both "oldies" and "current hits" plus everything in between?
  5. Who covers the music and announcements when the band is on break?
  6. Do they provide a qualified Master of Ceremonies and an experienced Event Director?

 
So, do you really need a DJ? Is a DJ the best option? Probably. 

Remember - Consider ALL THE OPTIONS - good and bad - before making a decision that can directly impact the success of your event.

There are NO "Do Overs" on your once in a lifetime event,
so it MUST be right the first time!
